White Rose Tournament - Castleford 30th May

The club are going en-masse to the White Rose tournament this Sunday (30th May).  The Belles will be entering 1 x Under 10's team, 1 x Under 11's team (in the Under 12's category) 2 x Under 12's teams, 2 x Under 13's teams (in the Under 14's category) 2 x Under 15's teams (in the Under 16's category) and 1 x open age team.  Please see your manager to see whether you (or your daughter) is required for the tournament.

The format is 6-a-side with an allowance of 2 x substitutes per squad.  White Rose will permit squads of more than 8 players but in the event that your team wins with a squad of more than 8 players, there'll only be 8 trophies provided.  Any squad which has more than 8 players may only field 8 during any one game.

Players need to be at the venue by 0915 hours as there's a manager's meeting at 0945 hours and we'd all like to know that our precious players are present as we have to submit a squad list and if you're not on the list you won't be allowed to play!

Directions:

Most folk will know their way to the tournament by now; it's held at Castleford Rugby Union Club on Whitwood Common Lane WF10 5PD.  The easiest way to the venue is from Junction 31 of the M62.

EXIT JUNCTION 31 M62. TAKE THE A655 TO CASTLEFORD. IN 750 YARDS (AFTER RISING SUN PUB) CASTLEFORD RUGBY UNION GROUND ON THE RIGHT (TOURNAMENT VENUE). AMPLE PARKING IS 75YDS PAST ON THE RIGHT. PLEASE OBSERVE A STRICT 10MPH SPEED LIMIT. WITHIN THIS AREA

 POLICE HAVE REQUESTED TO AVOID PARKING ON THE ROAD OR SURROUNDING STREETS AS THEY WILL TAKE APPROPRIATE ENFORCEMENT ACTION
