Rovers Belles 'A' were looking to bounce back to winning ways after dropping their first points of the season last week. With Don Valley pulling out of the fixture during the week, Rovers Belles 'A' were to complete their round of fixtures with Handsworth FC.

Both teams were down in numbers but showed great work ethic and determination. Overall Rovers Belles 'A' dominated the game and finished 4 - 0 victors.   Rovers Belles 'A' were to start brightly and would score 12 minutes in, when good work between Sophie Allott and Paige Unwin down the left hand side would create the chance for assistant manager Gemma McCOOL to put the side 1 - 0 up.

The partnership of Allott and Unwin down the left hand side would produce two more goals before the end of the half with Sophie ALLOTT scoring herself after 40 minutes and Gemma McCOOL grabbing her second of the game on the stroke of half time.

HALF TIME :  DONCASTER ROVERS BELLES 'A'  3-0  HANDSWORTH LADIES

The 'A' side would go on to control the second half without ever getting past third gear, completing the scoring after 75 minutes when Lauren EARLE fired in a free kick from the corner of the box.

Rovers Belles 'A' not only winning their 12th game of the league campaign but another clean sheet and many of the players showing that they are ready to make the step up to reserve team football.
