Doncaster Rovers Belles are delighted to announce the signing of England Under 23 forward Becky Hall from Birmingham City Ladies.
21 year-old Hall moves to South Yorkshire from fellow FA Tesco Premier League side Birmingham City, with whom she has been with for the last three years. Becky joined the Blues in 2006 from Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers. Becky has been outstanding for the Blues since her move in to the Premier League.
The quick forward has represented England at Under 19, Under 21 & Under 23 level. Indeed Becky was selected for the England Under 20's in the World Cup in Chile in November 2008 to play alongside our own Chelsea Weston and Rachel Williams.
Becky will now be hoping to build on those call up's and break in to the full England set up in the near future. ‘I’m delighted to be joining the club, Doncaster are doing well in the league lying third in the table’.
‘I really enjoyed my time with the Blues but felt that now was the right time to move on. Doncaster are an ambitious club who have a very good squad who are capable of challenging at the top end of the table and I want to be a part of that.
"I know a lot of the girls here already through being involved within the England set up and Chelsea and Precious who both were at Birmingham previously. I’m really looking forward to getting playing for my new club and to this new challenge’.

Rovers Belles Manager John Buckley ‘Becky is a player that we have tracked for a while so we are delighted that she has decided to make the move to the club. She was very, very close to joining us in the summer before opting eventually to stay with the Blues.
‘Becky is a quick, versatile forward, who can play on either wing or through the middle which will give us good forward options. She has a lot of quality and the ability to go past people at pace with the ball. Becky has always done well against us whilst at Birmingham and has a good record for scoring goals from midfield.’
‘Becky is very ambitious and I’m sure that she will prove to be an excellent acquisition for the club’.
Hall will have to wait to make her first team debut as she wasn’t registered before the original date for the FA Cup Fourth Round tie against either Havant & Waterlooville or Cardiff City. This means that if the Rovers Belles are successful in Round Four she could well make her debut against her former club Birmingham City in the FA Cup Fifth Round.
Everyone at the club would like to wish Becky well at her new club.
