Why sponsor me and the Doncaster Rovers Belles L.F.C...

In Sept 2008 Doncaster Belles, the oldest club in the Women's Premier League, are on the verge of bankruptcy.

The club's long term future has been put in serious doubt after it lost a major sponsor dealing a massive financial blow.

The Belles' annual budget is £65,000, an amount dwarfed by the millions spent on transfers in the men's Premier League in recent years. It would be a catastrophe to see the name Doncaster Belles go out of existence.

Doncaster Belles manager John Buckley "It's an incredible irony that men's clubs have been spending countless millions on transfers this year and we can't raise £500 to hire a coach,"

Doncaster Belles manager John Buckley said he was saddened by the plight of the club. "It would be a catastrophe to see the name Doncaster Belles go out of existence," said the former Doncaster Rovers and Rotherham United winger.

Cancer Research

Why sponsor me and Cancer Research UK...

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses.

  • Their vision of beating cancer is an enormous challenge. These four purpose statements set out how they address that challenge.
  • They carry out world-class research to improve our understanding of cancer and find out how to prevent, diagnose and treat different kinds of cancer.
  • They ensure that our findings are used to improve the lives of all cancer patients.
  • They help people to understand cancer, the progress they are making and the choices each person can make.
  • They work in partnership with others to achieve the greatest impact in the global fight against cancer.

If you wish to donate you can donate to both or just one of the causes and any money received is greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Joe Burton
