Belles to boost fitness and confidence
A Doncaster housing organisation has teamed up with Doncaster Rovers Belles with one goal….to encourage young people living on the borough’s council estates to keep fit and healthy.

St Leger Homes of Doncaster – the organisation responsible for managing just over 21,000 properties for Doncaster Council – and the Belles, one of the top women’s clubs in the country, will work together on a range of activities.
The workshops will be aimed at young people, involving them in community focused activities, to help build confidence and fitness.
The Belles will also tackle anti-social behaviour by providing positive activities for young people
Jonathan James, Chairman of Doncaster Rovers Belles Ladies Football Club said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to get our club out into the community and to really try and make a difference to the life’s of the young people in Doncaster. Our players and coaching staff are only too ready to start working on this project along with the Doncaster Council tenants.”
Susan Jordan, Chief Executive of St Leger Homes of Doncaster, said: “It’s good to be working in partnership with the town’s ladies football team. They will be working with young people living on the borough’s council estates to boost confidence and fitness and during diversionary activities to encourage good behaviour.”
