Doncaster Rovers Belles manager John Buckley was delighted with his sides performance in their 2-1 win at home to Lincoln Ladies - a result which lifts them off the bottom of the table.
Buckley said: “It was probably as well as we’ve played. I thought we moved the ball around well, particularly in the first-half.
“It was a great first goal after Alyssa spotted the keeper off her line.
“I’m really pleased with them. We were holding on in the last ten minutes but I’m just pleased that we managed to hold on.
“It’s a relief that we’re off the bottom of the table but we should be winning games.
“I know they can do it. We told them before the game that they had to believe in themselves.”
