Loan Round Up

Doncaster Rovers Belles Aine O'Gorman was on target in Peamount United's 4-1 win at Castlebar Celtic keeping them 3 points behind the leaders but they had to come from one down to claim the victory.

Emma Hansberry put the hosts ahead on 19 minutes, Louise Quinn then levelled 6 minutes before the break.

Peamount then settled the match with a devastating spell of 3 goals in 7 minutes, as Sara Lawlor struck twice and O'Gorman added a penalty before the hour was up.

Millie Bright got Leeds' opener against Aston Villa after only 7 minutes when Leah Galton played the ball inside for Bright to score but Natalie Gibson equalised in the 34th minute from 25 yards. Villa's Erin Vaughan was sent off in the 50th minute for bringing down Galton but Naomi Bruton saved Clare Sykes' penalty. The visitors then re-established their lead in the 57th minute from Carey Huegett and Jess Holbrook extended it direct from a 65th minute free kick. Two minutes later and Emma Johnson wrapped up the scoring at 4-1 to keep Leeds top of the table.

Precious Hamilton broke the deadlock for Derby County in heavy rain against local rivals Leicester City Women. Early on Michelle Kilmartin for the Rams and Leah Rawle for the Foxes both went close. After the interval, Vicky Gallagher fired over for City early on but Derby took the lead in the 66th minute when Hamilton headed home a Sam Griffiths corner. Then in the 78th minute the Rams increased their lead, as Hannah Baines fired home from a Griffiths corner.
