Maria - Meetings

I was at Keepmoat Stadium one day this week to watch our men’s Doncaster Rovers team.

Maria is a blogger for Our Game Magazine website. Our Game's mission is to further the popularity of women's soccer throughout the world. It is run by professional soccer players, bringing a unique perspective like no magazine has ever done before.

During the game I was sitting next to our coach John’s dad. John is from Scotland, and I had (still have) a hard time understanding him and his accent. You can just imagine me sitting talking with his 80-year-old dad.

The meeting with John’s dad made me think about all new people I’ve met here in Doncaster.
