Doncaster Rovers Belles on loan striker Millie Bright was on the score sheet again for Leeds United in their 3-2 victory over Reading today.
Leeds fell behind early on against the run of play when Fletcher slotted home for Reading from close range. But the home side came storming back scoring twice in the space of six minutes. Firstly Lipman equalised before Clare Sykes scored a penalty at the third attempt. Bright made it 3-1 when she collected the ball turned her marker to fire home. Fletcher got Reading back in to it a minute later but the home side held on to maintain second place in the table.
Becky Hall helped Wolverhampton Wanderers to a comfortable 7-1 win away to Wednesfield Ladies in the Birmingham County Cup. Dani Selmes and Amber Quick were also on target both scoring hat-tricks to see them easily in to the next round.
Katie Holtham's Perth Glory remain bottom of the W-League after they went down 3-0 at home against Sydney FC with Kyah Simon scoring twice for the visitors and Tanya Oxtoby also putting the ball into her own net.
