England Under 19 International's Beth England and Jess Sigsworth have become the latest graduates from the Sheffield United Centre Of Excellence to be awarded FA WSL contracts.
Beth is a 17 year old winger who joined the club in the summer of 2010. She was outstanding in her first season with the club helping the reserves to a second placed finish in the league.
The tricky wide player, has teriffic delivery and is very dangerous when running at defenders and will be keen to make an impression in the FA WSL.
Jess is a 16 year old striker who re-joins the club from the centre after starting her career in the Belles junior section.
She is a tall, powerful striker who is a natural goalscorer. Jess has been a prolific scorer in junior football and will look for that to continue now in to senior football.
Beth and Jess have both come through the ranks with young England featuring in the Under 17 and Under 19 squads.
Belles Manager John Buckley spoke to www.doncasterroversbelles.co.uk on the clubs new signings; “Beth and Jess are two young players who we have had great hopes for now for a long time, so it is fantastic to see them as part of our first team squad.
"It speaks volumes for the excellent work that goes on at the Sheffield United Centre of Excellence and shows that the club have great faith in our younger players.
"Both girls have been training with us for a while now and feel part of the group so, it's just a matter of them both working hard and fighting for a place in the team.”
Beth will wear the number 17 shirt and Jess the number 5 shirt.
Both go straight in to the Belles squad for the trip to Birmingham on Saturday.
