Lea signed for the Rovers Belles in December 2011 from FA WSL rivals Lincoln Ladies.

The ex-England basketball player, came back into football in 2007 and was outstanding in defence for Lincoln as they chased promotion from the FA Northern Division.

The talented defender went on to have an excellent first season for Lincoln in the FA WSL winning their 2011 Manager's Player of the Year Award.

Lea is a tall, quick, athletic dominant centre half who can also play at right back or centre forward.
