Tanya joined the Rovers Belles in February 2012 from Australian side Perth Glory.

The 29 year old central defender who has dual nationality began her playing career in the Pilbara town of Wickham, initially playing in a team coached by her father.

In 1999 Oxtoby was selected for the Australian Schoolgirls team.

In 2005 the talented defender was appointed captain of the Western Waves in the Australian Women's National Soccer League.

Tanya ia also a qualified coach and was appointed assistant coach of the Football West National Training Centre in 2007.

In 2008 she joined Perth Glory and was again appointed captain of the team competing in the W-League. She is one of only a few players of Indigenous descent to be playing in the W-League.

During that year she was appointed Western Australia women's Under-15 coach.

In 2008 and 2011 she was named best player for the Glory, winning the Most Glorious Women's Player award.

Tanya has very good communication and leadership qualities and adds experience to the Belles squad.
